Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding tasks, and mechanical components swiftly and efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs. Manage facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and general building upkeep. Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment history. Supervise maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, providing guidance on safety procedures and quality standards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activities while maintaining high standards of customer service for guests and staff. Skills Extensive electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and use tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge spanning HVAC systems, plumbing, welding techniques, and general building systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems. Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience in facilities or manufacturing environments. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination with team members and vendors. Experience with CMMS software for efficient maintenance management. Ability to perform residential painting and other finishing tasks as needed. Leadership qualities combined with customer service orientation to ensure guest satisfaction through well-maintained facilities.
