We're hiring a skilled, self-directed 1099 independent contractor handyman to maintain and improve residential rental properties, including manufactured homes, support residential new construction efforts, and assist with property inspections and materials procurement. This role requires broad hands-on competence. Someone comfortable moving between a tub replacement, framing work, siding repair, painting, and a new perspective job to determine scope of work, all within the same week. This position is currently part-time with the possibility of it converting to full-time work.

Responsibilities General Repairs:

plumbing, electric, drywall, flooring, fixture replacement, doors/windows, appliances, etc.

Full-scope jobs:

Gut and remodel, demo, bathroom reno, etc.

New Construction:

Doors and trim install, porch posts, decks, flooring, etc.

Property Inspection & Bidding:

Walk prospective job sites to assess condition/scope, compile a materials list, and estimate job length.

Professional Representation:

Ability to represent the company to clients and tenants in a professional manner. Requirements Provide own tools Provide own transportation 5+ Years experience Ability to self-manage time

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
