Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred. Experience Requirements 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience required PLC experience preferred Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and mechanical prints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Job Duties Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Support machine upgrades and continuous improvement projects Use hand tools, welding equipment, and machinist tools as needed Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety requirements Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Maintain a clean and organized work area Work independently and collaboratively with maintenance and production teams Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
