JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and property grounds while providing excellent customer service to residents.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartments.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance issues.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-ready).
Perform preventive maintenance throughout the property.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds and common areas.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in an on-call rotation.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
HVAC certification/experience required.
Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
