Job Description As a Facility Maintenance Technician at Viva Auto Group, you will be responsible for performing basic building maintenance and routine maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. This role requires a proactive individual with hands-on experience in facility upkeep and maintenance. Key Responsibilities General building repairs and preventative maintenance Painting, drywall, and minor carpentry Basic plumbing repairs Basic electrical repairs, fixtures, outlets, and lighting Landscaping and exterior upkeep Pressure washing and property appearance Doors, locks, cabinets, shelving, etc. Minor HVAC troubleshooting/filter maintenance Moving/installing equipment, furniture, and signage Responding to maintenance requests across dealerships Coordinating with licensed contractors when work is beyond the position's scope Qualifications Proven experience as a Facility Maintenance Technician or similar role. Knowledge of basic building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
