As a vital part of our environmental services crew, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine floors across various areas, utilizing professional cleaning techniques and equipment. Duties Perform floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore and maintain floor surfaces. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely. Handle floor cleaning chemicals responsibly, ensuring proper mixing, application, and disposal in accordance with safety guidelines. Conduct routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and spot cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards. Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy equipment or furniture safely during cleaning procedures. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services with a focus on floor care or environmental services. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor waxing, buffing, and refinishing. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors. Familiarity with handling floor cleaning chemicals safely and effectively. Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols meticulously.
