The Senior Maintenance Technician is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance professional who will assist with the daily maintenance needs of our clubs while serving as a technical resource to maintenance technicians across the organization. This position will help coordinate maintenance activities, troubleshoot more complex issues, support preventive maintenance programs, inspect completed work, and assist with maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our members and employees. The Senior Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Director of Operations, Regional and Club managers to respond to maintenance needs, prioritize work orders, and ensure repairs and projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance technician who is ready to take on greater responsibility, support other technicians, travel between multiple locations, and serve as a go-to resource for facility and equipment maintenance. What You'll Do Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across multiple club locations. Respond to maintenance requests and work orders through the Woven maintenance management system. Troubleshoot and repair building systems, equipment, and facility components. Perform advanced maintenance and repair work involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, fixtures, and general building maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fitness equipment, including treadmills, cardio equipment, weight machines, and other gym equipment. Identify potential problems before they become major repairs and communicate recommendations to the Director of Operations. Respond to emergency maintenance issues and provide appropriate troubleshooting and repair support. Determine when specialized repairs require an outside vendor or licensed contractor and communicate those needs to the Director of Operations. Technical Leadership & Team Support Serve as a technical resource and point of support for maintenance technicians across all club locations. Assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and difficult maintenance issues. Provide hands-on guidance and share maintenance knowledge, techniques, and best practices with other technicians. Assist with coordinating daily maintenance activities and priorities across club locations. Review completed maintenance work and communicate follow-up needs or quality concerns to the Property Maintenance Supervisor. Assist with maintaining consistent maintenance practices and standards across all clubs. Communicate recurring equipment or facility issues to the Director of Opeartions and recommend potential solutions. Provide technical and operational support during larger maintenance projects and facility improvements. Work Orders & Preventive Maintenance Monitor and complete assigned work orders in Woven within established timeframes. Assist with prioritizing maintenance requests based on urgency, safety, operational impact, and club needs. Maintain accurate documentation of completed repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance. Follow established preventive maintenance schedules for building systems, fitness equipment, and other facility assets. Assist with developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules across club locations. Inspect equipment and building systems and identify repair or replacement needs. Maintain accurate records to support manufacturer warranty requirements and company maintenance standards. Facility Inspections & Safety Conduct routine inspections of club facilities to identify maintenance, safety, and operational concerns. Assist with identifying potential hazards and taking appropriate corrective action. Inspect electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors, fixtures, and other building systems. Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use and maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies. Communicate significant safety or facility concerns to the Property Maintenance Supervisor and club management. Vendors & Contractors Assist with coordinating outside vendors and contractors when specialized services are required. Provide access and on-site support to vendors performing work at club locations. Assist with reviewing completed vendor work and communicating concerns to the Director of Operations. Help ensure vendor work is completed according to the requested scope and facility requirements. Areas of Expertise The Senior Maintenance Technician should be comfortable working across multiple areas of facility maintenance, including: Plumbing and water systems Electrical systems and lighting HVAC and ventilation Carpentry and general construction Drywall and painting Flooring, tile, and concrete repairs Doors, locks, and hardware Emergency and exit lighting Fitness equipment General mechanical systems Preventive maintenance Building inspections Troubleshooting and repair What We're Looking For 7+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field. Previous experience as a Senior Maintenance Technician, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar role preferred. Strong hands-on knowledge of multiple building trades. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repair solutions. Ability to work independently with limited direction while knowing when to escalate an issue. Ability to provide technical assistance and guidance to other Maintenance Technicians. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple work orders and priorities across different locations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with club managers, employees, vendors, contractors, and other maintenance team members. Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and maintenance management software. Ability to travel between multiple club locations. Strong customer-service mindset and professional demeanor. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Technical School Certification Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance or facilities experience. Current and valid Texas Driver's License. Clean driving record. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to respond to emergency maintenance needs. Ability to work a flexible schedule when required by operational needs. Preferred Qualifications HVAC certification or relevant HVAC experience. CMRP or other maintenance/facilities certification. Electrical or plumbing experience beyond basic maintenance. Experience maintaining commercial or multi-site facilities. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as Woven. Experience maintaining fitness or commercial gym equipment. Bilingual English/Spanish. Physical Requirements The Senior Maintenance Technician must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including: Standing and walking for extended periods. Frequently reaching with hands and arms. Using hands to operate tools, equipment, controls, and machinery. Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Climbing ladders and working at various heights. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling maintenance materials, tools, and equipment. Working in confined spaces when necessary. Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Working around loud equipment and machinery. Performing physical maintenance activities for extended periods. Work Environment The Senior Maintenance Technician will work across multiple club locations and may be exposed to varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including loud noises, confined spaces, equipment rooms, construction areas, temperature extremes, and other conditions commonly associated with facility maintenance.
