In this energetic role, you will work both as part of a team and independently. This isn't your normal maintenance work.! The roving team performs project work, as well as other duties, as needed, at 7 different properties in the mid-cities area so flexibility to adjust to different properties and situations is important. Responsibilities Perform full AC changeouts regularly, replace AC ductwork, carpentry, in-depth plumbing, tub and shower wall replacement, irrigation work, electrical work, minor concrete, roof repairs. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and electrical systems. Repair plumbing systems including underground piping. Troubleshoot, repair and replacements of water heaters. Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs or maintenance tasks with precision and safety. Respond promptly to resident service requests with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction while maintaining safety protocols. Proven experience in residential or facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, carpentry, welding, and mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with electrical equipment repair, building interior maintenance, plumbing system maintenance and repair, as well as facilities equipment upkeep. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently but also as a team. Valid driver's license required for roving responsibilities; physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor required.
