Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for a busy manufacturing facility.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support production operations in Gainesville. In this role, you will keep equipment running safely and inspect machinery to prevent breakdowns. You will diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on production machines and facility equipment
Complete maintenance work orders and keep accurate repair logs
Find and fix problems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, burners, and air compressors
Read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals to solve technical problems
Perform simple welding, metal fabrication, and machine repairs as needed
Help keep facility systems running, including air lines, plumbing, and lights
Follow all safety guidelines, including lock-out/tag-out rules and PPE practices
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a factory setting preferred
Strong skills with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems
Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical guides
Welding, fabrication, and basic machining skills preferred
Technical or trade school training is a plus
Basic computer skills to keep daily work records
Ability to speak and read English
Work Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work inside a manufacturing facility around active machinery, motors, and electrical systems
Dress code requires jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toe boots
