This role centers on the upkeep and optimization of our facility infrastructure, with a specific emphasis on utility-focused maintenance tasks. Core Responsibilities Ensure the reliable operation of production and utility equipment, including motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, boilers, pumps, and packaging machinery, by performing essential troubleshooting and repairs. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic malfunctions and resolve them by adjusting settings, swapping out worn components, or creating custom parts. Assist in maintaining operational efficiency by wiring control circuits of moderate complexity. Support facility infrastructure by installing and repairing diverse piping systems, such as steam, water, and process lines, using precise calculations. Help maintain a safe and functional facility by welding various metal types. Utilize machining techniques on plastics, composites, and metals to support equipment maintenance. Improve equipment longevity by fabricating or replicating small components for necessary repairs. Minimize production delays by performing efficient size changeovers and fine-tuning liquid filling and packaging lines. Help maintain a productive workflow by identifying and resolving equipment issues independently with minimal oversight. Support automated systems by troubleshooting and implementing minor program updates within Allen Bradley PLC environments. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by troubleshooting 480v 3-phase motors and VFDs, including handling replacements and programming.
