This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical expertise and proactive approach will make a significant impact. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability across our operations. Your hands-on skills and leadership will help foster a safe, productive workplace while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical circuits, motors, pumps, conveyors, and other manufacturing equipment. Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain equipment integrity. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical faults accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry, plumbing, and general building upkeep. Supervise or mentor junior technicians or contractors during maintenance projects while adhering to safety standards and protocols. Lead small teams during shift operations or special projects to ensure timely completion with quality workmanship. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance through proactive maintenance strategies. Requirements Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience working with schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams. Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to fabricate or repair metal components effectively. Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits using tools like ohmmeters and understanding of electrical codes. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and repairs. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings fluently. Strong supervisory or leadership experience in supervising maintenance teams or projects. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Basic residential painting skills are a plus for general facility upkeep tasks.
