The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our production team, involved in daily processes and successful outcomes for our facility and its customers. In this position you will assist the Maintenance Supervisor to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments. This position applies their skills in various venues to achieve success. What makes a successful

team member: Must haves include Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen and be at least 18 Years Old

Experience with:

Work safely and follow all plant rules

Show initiative, be a self-starter

Communicate in a clear and effective manner

Ability to multi-task

Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have flexibility

Read a tape measure and do basic math Would be terrific if you also had HS Diploma or GED preferred

Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting

Excellent attendance record

Commitment to your team members, self-motivation, and accountability

Good hand eye coordination and be mechanically adaptable

Ability to complete work orders on a daily basis

Forklift Certification

Knowledge of LOTO procedures

Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

Welding Experience

Ability to clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery. There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to: Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 40-pounds)

Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels

Handle production materials and finished goods.
