Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will help keep production running smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement and safety. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including electrical blueprints, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), and electrical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems by diagnosing issues and replacing faulty components. Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future maintenance tasks. Conduct welding tasks including stick welding as needed for equipment repairs or modifications. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting guides to identify root causes of equipment failures. Operate industrial lifts such as scissor lifts safely for access to elevated machinery or components. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime through quick troubleshooting of electrical or mechanical issues while maintaining high safety standards. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Demonstrated expertise in electrical troubleshooting, including reading electrical blueprints and schematics. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, HVAC maintenance, or related technical sales experience is a plus. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and schematics reading. Ability to perform stick welding and other welding techniques required for equipment repair or fabrication projects. Knowledge of industrial mechanic principles combined with mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and maintenance. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues quickly and accurately in electrical or mechanical systems. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work activities and collaborate with team members. Valid certification or experience operating scissor lifts safely; familiarity with industrial electrician practices highly desirable. Pay:
$20.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 60.0 per week
