In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs to ensure optimal operation and cleanliness. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will help deliver exceptional service, creating enjoyable swimming experiences for everyone. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in pool systems while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and removing debris to maintain pristine water quality. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure safety and compliance with health standards. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements using hand tools and power tools as needed. Maintain detailed service records of all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and chemical treatments. Respond promptly to service requests for pool issues or emergencies, providing professional solutions to restore optimal operation. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients' property. Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies necessary for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting. Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
