Job Description:
Texas Frac, situated in northern Texas, specializes in producing sand for the foundry, glass, construction, and frac sand markets. With a commitment to quality and innovation, Texas Frac is a key contributor to the industries it serves. Individual is responsible for safely maintaining wet and dry plant as well as all mine equipment. Must have ability to visually inspect, maintain, and fix equipment as necessary and at scheduled intervals. Will also be required to start up and shut down equipment. Successful candidate will be expected to understand the overall sand mining process.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment. Use root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment failures. Operate mobile equipment safely and assist with wash and dry plant operations. Utilize welding/fabrication skills and maintain conveyor/bucket elevators.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience. Electrical knowledge and equipment operation skills. Welding and fabricating expertise. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a toxicity test. Medical clearance for respiratory protection. Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call as needed. Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work well in a team environment. Proficient in standard computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs. Engage in standing, squatting, kneeling, and other physical activities. Must wear personal protective equipment and handle strenuous tasks.
