Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, appliances, and structural elements to ensure optimal operation. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management, diagnosing issues accurately and executing repairs efficiently. Conduct residential painting, welding, and other carpentry tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed on time. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, carpentry, welding, and general building repairs. Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, reading schematics, and using testing tools like ohmmeters. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English with residents and team members. Prior supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate maintenance teams or contractors effectively. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices within residential or manufacturing environments. Ability to perform residential painting confidently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards.
