Maintenance Technician Job Summary Kaspar Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Technician II will work with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and CNC systems while ensuring safe and efficient operation across the facility. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work orders and complete repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and CNC machinery.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Communicate repair status, timelines, and required parts professionally with internal teams and vendors.
Participate in shift meetings to prioritize maintenance activities.
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
Travel up to 25% as needed for equipment or facility support.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Maintenance Technician Skills and Competencies
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, fluid power, and control systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience troubleshooting industrial machinery.
Experience servicing CNC machines and control systems preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to equipment operation.
Mid- to high-level break-fix and preventive maintenance experience required.
Experience with PLCs, robotics, or CNC repair preferred.
Valid driving record with a clear history for the past three years.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, and reach frequently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds with assistance occasionally.
Ability to push and pull heavy equipment such as pallet jacks.
Work Environment The Maintenance Technician works in both indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, temperature changes, and airborne particles. Appropriate PPE is required. Benefits
