Job Description

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical systems, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pay :
$23.00-$26.00 an hour The pay listed is the pay range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift:
Fulltime days 7am-3:30pm, weekends and overtime as needed

Knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical systems, drywall repair, and painting. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required. Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing-related issues. Repair, patch, texture, and finish drywall as needed. Prepare surfaces and perform interior and exterior painting projects. Assist with electrical repairs and maintenance in accordance with safety standards. Assemble, install, and repair fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, and hardware. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently.
