We are hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician for Quality Inn & Suites Victoria South. This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping the hotel clean, safe, functional, and well maintained.

Responsibilities:

Perform minor repairs in guest rooms and common areas Handle basic plumbing issues including toilets, faucets, sinks, drains, and minor leaks Perform basic electrical work such as replacing lights, switches, outlets, and fixtures Assist with basic A/C and heating maintenance Repair doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and other hotel items Keep parking lot, sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and exterior areas clean Pick up trash and debris around the property daily Pressure wash sidewalks and exterior areas as needed Restock maintenance supplies and other hotel supplies Perform routine property inspections and preventive maintenance Assist with deep cleaning, scrubbing floors, common areas, and other cleaning projects when needed Respond promptly to maintenance requests Help with any other property upkeep duties as assigned

Requirements:

General maintenance or handyman experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Weekend availability required Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors Able to lift, bend, walk, and perform physical work Must be willing to perform both maintenance and cleaning duties

Consistent attendance and on-time arrival Complete assigned daily tasks efficiently Keep work areas organized and clean Limited personal cell phone use during working hours except for emergencies Must remain productive and help wherever needed around the property This is a long-term position. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person who takes pride in keeping the property clean and properly maintained.

Pay:

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
