General Maintenance Technician - Athletic Facilities Pine Tar Sports is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our baseball and softball facilities. This position involves a variety of hands-on maintenance, grounds, irrigation, and repair work. We are looking for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. The position is based out of Weatherford, TX , with travel to other locations throughout the DFW area and surrounding areas. Some overnight travel may be required. What You'll Do Perform general maintenance and repairs at baseball and softball facilities. Maintain fields, grounds, and surrounding areas. Mow, weed eat, trim, prune, and perform general landscaping. Install, repair, and troubleshoot irrigation and sprinkler systems. Repair fencing, gates, dugouts, benches, bleachers, and other facility equipment. Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and other maintenance equipment. Assist with setup, repairs, and improvements around athletic facilities. Identify maintenance issues and determine what is needed to repair them. Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials. Keep work areas clean and organized. Travel to different facilities as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, landscaping, construction, irrigation, or a similar field. Experience with irrigation/sprinkler systems is a plus. Basic electrical experience is a plus. Landscaping and grounds maintenance experience is a plus. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment. Experience operating mowers and other outdoor equipment is preferred. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Reliable and dependable. Comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather. Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, standing, and walking. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license preferred. Willingness to travel to different work locations. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday. Some overtime, weekends, or overnight travel may be required depending on project needs. Travel Work is primarily based out of Weatherford, TX, with travel throughout the DFW area and surrounding locations. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Company-paid lodging and applicable travel reimbursement are provided for qualifying overnight assignments.
