Job Description
Tatemada, a rapidly growing food manufacturing company, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support equipment uptime and ensure smooth plant operations. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting production in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced in both equipment and facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic building maintenance issues
- Maintain and repair facility infrastructure (lighting, HVAC basics, compressed air, water systems, etc.)
- Support daily operations by minimizing equipment downtime
- Inspect equipment and facilities to identify issues and implement timely solutions
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of equipment and facility systems
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, cGMP, and food manufacturing standards
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance or facility services when needed
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and facility performance
Qualifications:
- Technical training in maintenance
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance (food industry preferred)
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and facility-related issues
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Familiarity with food safety standards (cGMP, SQF, HACCP preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Schedule:
Rotating shifts between 2nd and 3rd shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM and 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM)Pay:
