Handyman White Realty Management Company Wichita Falls, TX Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Construction painting Driver's License Attention to detail Locksmithing HVAC Certification Woodworking Full Job Description Handyman / Maintenance Technician We are looking for an individual to assist with all maintenance and upkeep-related activities across several high-rise office buildings in Downtown Wichita Falls. You will perform tasks of great variety such as drywall work, carpentry, painting, HVAC maintenance, landscaping, etc. We will also pay for any necessary schooling or certifications you would like to pursue in a field related to this work. The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a close-knit team, has high attention to detail, great communication skills, and is a fast learner. Responsibilities Include Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Inspecting buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.) Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and cooling systems to ensure functionality Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace doors, etc.) Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.) Skills Proven experience in a maintenance-related field Understanding of HVAC and Electrical systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common equipment, and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
