As a Maintenance Technician Team Member you will be responsible for effectively maintaining our apartment community in Wichita Falls, Texas. We are looking for an HVAC certified maintenance person, but will consider all applications. You will assist with daily work orders and preventative maintenance activities. Specifically, this will include make ready, carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical and other typical apartment repairs. Working in a safe and efficient manner at all times, you'll use protective equipment and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high quality. Additionally, you will participate in an emergency on-call rotation for any out of hour's maintenance activities. To be considered for this role, you must have: At least three years' maintenance experience. Good diagnostic skills The ability to perform repairs on appliances, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry and painting and/or sheetrock Your own tools, HVAC certification is preferred, but not required. A valid state driver's license and current insurance Experience in apartment maintenance EPA Certified Knowledgeable of Fair Housing Laws High School Diploma Required Criminal/Drug Screening Background Strong work ethic Ability to work independently and/or with a team Tools & Transportation with a valid Driver's License Proven track record in the industry / Solid references Dependable and reliable, as a Maintenance Technician, you must be friendly and approachable with strong communication skills and good conflict management abilities.
