Key Property Management is seeking a Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician at a 36-unit affordable housing community located in Richfield, UT. The responsibilities of this position include the following but are not limited to:

• General handyperson duties
• Live less than 30 minutes from the property & be able to respond to the property for after hours & weekend/holiday emergency calls
• Perform daily maintenance of apartments, grounds (including some snow removal), parking lots, and common areas.
• General repairs - including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sidewalk, and parking lot.
• Painting
• Appliance troubleshooting
• Safety systems
• Prepare units for new move-ins
• Janitorial duties as assigned including cleaning apartments as part of the unit turn
• Assist in preparation for government inspections with an emphasis on site health and safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Work with the Property Manager to identify janitorial and maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
• Initiate, perform, and/or oversee janitorial and maintenance projects.
• Perform apartment turnovers, repairs, grounds maintenance, and overall upkeep on a large property.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple, concurrent maintenance activities.
• Work with Property Manager to meet and exceed the needs of the apartment community.
