This role supports the property's overall curb appeal, performs routine and preventative maintenance, and ensures all work is completed in accordance with OSHA, Hilton safety standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain the hotel's interior and exterior appearance, including grounds, building upkeep, and overall curb appeal. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, fixture replacement, and equipment upkeep. Troubleshoot and complete basic repairs in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Properly operate, maintain, and store tools and equipment in compliance with OSHA safety standards . Assist with pool care and water quality management; CPO certification preferred but not required to start position . Complete preventative maintenance schedules and accurately document all work performed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and storage areas. Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and guests. Work independently and demonstrate strong self‑motivation and initiative. Use hotel‑provided computer systems and/or phone‑based apps to complete work orders, log maintenance tasks, and communicate with the team. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently . Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Strong communication and customer‑service mindset. Ability to work with minimal supervision must be a self‑starter . Familiarity with pool maintenance; CPO certification a plus . Ability to use a computer and mobile phone applications for daily tasks. Previous maintenance experience in hospitality or a similar environment preferred. Must be able to read and write in English to complete logs, safety documentation, and work orders. Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Physical activity including lifting, bending, walking, climbing ladders, shoveling snow and standing for extended periods. Safe Use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
