Hazy Mountain Vineyards is looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Tech to help keep our vineyard estate, guest accommodations, event spaces, and other properties operating safely and smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and doesn't want to spend every day doing the same type of maintenance. You'll work across multiple properties handling everything from HVAC and electrical troubleshooting to appliance repairs, equipment maintenance, landscaping, and seasonal property upkeep. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to look at a problem, figure out what's wrong, and determine the best way to get it fixed. What You'll Do Building & Facility Maintenance Perform routine repairs and maintenance throughout multiple Hazy Mountain properties. Troubleshoot basic electrical issues such as outlets, switches, fixtures, and wiring. Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment and systems. Repair and maintain household and facility appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and similar equipment. Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs as needed. Inspect buildings, equipment, and property areas for maintenance issues and address problems before they become larger concerns. Equipment & Mechanical Maintenance Maintain and repair lawn mowers, tractors, small engines, and other property equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs when possible. Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance materials organized and in good working condition. Coordinate with outside contractors or service providers when a repair requires specialized expertise. Grounds & Seasonal Property Care Mow, trim, and maintain landscaped areas around the properties. Assist with general groundskeeping and property appearance. Remove snow and ice and apply salt during winter weather. Handle debris removal, cleanup, and other general property maintenance tasks. Help ensure guest-facing areas, facilities, and surrounding properties remain safe, clean, and presentable. Preventive Maintenance & Emergency Response Complete routine preventive maintenance to reduce equipment and facility downtime. Monitor property systems and promptly address maintenance concerns. Respond to urgent maintenance issues when needed. Provide occasional on-call support or emergency repairs, particularly when events or guest operations require immediate attention. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, property maintenance, general maintenance, construction, or a related skilled trade. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Working knowledge of residential or light commercial electrical systems. Experience with HVAC maintenance and repair. Experience maintaining lawn equipment, tractors, or small engines. Ability to operate power tools, light machinery, landscaping equipment, and maintenance equipment safely. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Comfortable traveling between multiple properties. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage changing maintenance needs. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus. Preferred Experience EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification Basic plumbing Carpentry Painting/drywall Commercial or residential HVAC Small engine repair Experience maintaining multiple buildings or properties Don't have EPA Universal Certification yet? Pay:

$30-$35 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

Full-time. Some evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call coverage may be required depending on property needs and events.
