LOVE where you work at Walter Gum! 24 unit apartment community, is looking to fill the position of our part time Maintenance Tech II. We are looking for a friendly, mission-driven, outgoing individual to join our team-oriented atmosphere. We are consistently fully leased for a reason: our Team!

The right candidate must:

• Have valid driver license with good driving record, and reliable transportation
• Pass criminal, credit and drug screening Other Qualifications required for job duties:
• Team player
• Prompt & consistent attendance
• Strong unit Turn skills . Strong Communication skills . Maintain Inventory of supplies . Be a working supervisor - completing turns, work orders, and other various repairs including but not limited to Electrical, Plumbing, Appliance, Carpentry . Assign work to contractors and follow up on their performance
• Dedication to curb appeal
• Attention to detail with a proactive mentality
• Available for on call.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. alone, 100 lbs. with assistance. Job duties include (but are not limited to):
• Perform some custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc. in common areas.
• Assist in grounds work when necessary, daily. Includes daily breezeway walk
• Complete work orders in a timely manner, perform Preventative Maintenance
• Participate in a rotating standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Maintain ALL sidewalks and steps to be free of snow and ice in winter months.

Able to work in ALL temperatures and weather conditions.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
