Building Supervisors & Floor Technicians

Schedule:

Variable, 4 days per week, 10 Hours per Day, 40 Hours weekly. Se Habla Español

• Monday thru Thursday from 7:00pm
• 5:30am Location

• VA Tech University Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Previous experience stripping and finishing a variety of floors including Terrazzo and VCT
• Ability to Run walk-behind scrubbers, walk-behind extractors, and swing buffers
• Ability to steam clean upholstery
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in good working condition
• Assisting with other custodial related work Building Supervisors
• FT Monday through Friday
• Morning / Afternoon/ Evening
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in janitorial environment
• Great customer service & attention to detail
• Previous Carpet Care and hard floor experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
