Shift :
Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems and equipment, ensuring a seamless environment for occupants and visitors alike. Your expertise will help uphold high standards of safety, efficiency, and comfort across our premises. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical work techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical repairs to maintain building integrity and appearance. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and mechanical devices. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs or upgrades efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects and interior building upkeep to enhance aesthetics and functionality. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or management, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in building interior maintenance and facilities maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment repair and system diagnostics. Experience with HVAC system repair, including familiarity with HVAC components and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and plumbing or electrical system layouts accurately. Skilled in welding, carpentry (including residential painting), plumbing system maintenance and repair. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures for various facilities equipment. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous for troubleshooting automated systems. Use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers along with diagnostic tools like ohmmeters effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English with team members or clients. Leadership qualities that enable guidance on projects or mentoring less experienced team members when needed. $90,000.00 per year
