If you have hands-on maintenance experience but aren't looking for a traditional full-time schedule, this could be a great fit. Community Housing Partners is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician II to help keep our apartment community safe, comfortable, and well maintained. You'll handle a variety of repairs, preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, and apartment turnovers while working independently and as part of a supportive property team. What You'll Do Diagnose and complete routine and moderately complex repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems. Complete and document resident work orders accurately and on time. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled property inspections. Maintain buildings, common areas, grounds, and other property spaces. Complete apartment turnovers with a goal of 10 days or less. Participate in scheduled on-call and emergency maintenance coverage. Assist with vendors and contractors as needed. Support less experienced team members when appropriate. Follow CHP safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations. What We're Looking For 2+ years of maintenance experience required Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Strong communication and resident service skills Ability to use maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and mobile work-order systems High school diploma or equivalent preferred Trade training or maintenance-related certifications preferred Driver's License & Transportation A valid driver's license and driving record that meets CHP's current insurability requirements are required. Employees must have reliable transportation to and from work. A company vehicle may be available for approved work-related travel but is not intended for commuting. Schedule This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Some evening, weekend, emergency, or on-call availability may be required based on property needs. About the
