Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are met, and the environment remains productive and safe for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless operation of our organization. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, kitchen appliances, and other facility machinery. Diagnose and repair issues related to appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols. Conduct troubleshooting of HVAC & appliance technology to identify faults quickly and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and repair records to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks that require on-site visits or equipment transportation. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or construction projects to ensure timely completion. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC & refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools used in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair across various settings including kitchens or industrial environments. Mechanical knowledge related to construction projects or equipment repair is highly desirable. Ability to operate equipment safely within a company vehicle or on-site machinery while adhering to safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences. Strong leadership qualities with experience overseeing maintenance operations or leading repair teams preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is a plus.
