M-F 5-10pm Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces in commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all building occupants. The Floor Technician will utilize specialized equipment and techniques to deliver high-quality floor care services. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing. Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors for carpet cleaning. Conduct inspections of floor surfaces to identify areas needing repair or special attention. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas. Follow established safety procedures and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with the environmental services team to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Respond promptly to requests for additional cleaning services as needed. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning. Knowledge of environmental services practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
