Air Duct Cleaning Technician - Part Time Shiny Ducts | Williamsburg, VA Shiny Ducts is looking for a dependable, hardworking Air Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia. This position will begin as part time , with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as our workload continues to expand. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and isn't afraid of a hands-on job. No previous air duct cleaning experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. What You'll Do As an Air Duct Cleaning Technician, you'll work directly with our team at residential and commercial properties throughout Williamsburg and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities include:

Perform residential and commercial air duct cleaning Clean dryer vents and exhaust ventilation systems Assist with HVAC coil and related cleaning services Set up, operate, and properly maintain professional duct-cleaning equipment Remove and reinstall vent covers and registers as needed Navigate attics, crawlspaces, and other areas of homes when necessary Take before-and-after photos of completed work Protect customers' homes, flooring, furniture, and property while working Maintain a clean and organized work area and company equipment Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions about the work being performed Work efficiently with other technicians to complete jobs on schedule Follow company procedures and safety standards What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is: Dependable and shows up on time Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces Able to work on ladders when necessary Able to lift and move equipment associated with duct-cleaning work Professional and respectful when working inside customers' homes Detail-oriented and willing to do the job correctly rather than rushing through it Able to follow instructions and learn new equipment and procedures Able to work well independently and as part of a team Comfortable communicating directly with customers A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are strongly preferred. Previous experience in HVAC, air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, construction, restoration, carpet cleaning, home services, maintenance, or similar trades is a plus, but not required . Schedule Part Time Hours will initially be based on scheduled jobs and company workload. The ideal candidate should have some flexibility during normal weekday working hours.
