Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Janitorial & Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, cleanliness and upkeep of our facility. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and carry out repairs to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Your expertise will help uphold our standards of quality and safety while supporting the daily functions of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hands-on maintenance work and dedicated to delivering exceptional facility care. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Perform daily interior and exterior cleaning tasks to ensure facilities, equipment and grounds are ready for our guests. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including troubleshooting thermostats and replacing filters to ensure optimal climate control. Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and servicing plumbing fixtures and systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete repairs or modifications as needed. Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects, building interior upkeep, and general carpentry tasks to enhance facility appearance. Supervise or collaborate with team members on maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for compliance and operational efficiency. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met. Skills Knowledge of facilities maintenance including electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, mechanical repairs, and building interior upkeep. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in welding, carpentry, painting (residential or commercial), and use of hand tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English with team members and vendors. Knowledge of maintenance best practices for MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies management. Weekend Availability is required.
