Job Description

The Killington Group is looking for a skilled, dependable, and self-motivated Property Management & Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll be the boots on the ground helping us keep our vacation rental properties safe, functional, well-maintained, and guest-ready. Every day is different. You may be inspecting a property before a guest arrives, making a repair, troubleshooting an unexpected issue, responding to an emergency call, or helping with a larger property project. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, working independently, and seeing the immediate results of their work .
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Inspect Properties:
Perform thorough arrival and departure inspections to identify maintenance needs, damage, and other issues.
Perform Maintenance:
Handle routine, preventative, and basic handyman repairs, including a potential for basic carpentry, and general troubleshooting. Respond to
Emergencies:
Serve as a field responder for urgent maintenance and safety issues and participate in an on-call rotation.
Keep Properties Guest-Ready:
Make sure homes and condos are safe, functional, well-maintained, and ready for every arriving guest.
Document & Communicate:
Clearly report issues, completed work, and follow-up needs to management.
Manage Daily Workflows:
Maintain operational logs, prioritize assigned tasks, and complete work within established timelines. Support the
Team:
Work closely with the Lead Property Manager and assist with special projects and portfolio-wide initiatives.
Track Performance:
Enter accurate daily information and performance metrics into the company system.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Hands-On Skills Strong handyman/maintenance skill set Basic plumbing, carpentry, and troubleshooting abilities Practical problem-solving skills and good judgment Work Ethic Dependable, trustworthy, and accountable Self-motivated and comfortable working with limited supervision Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through Takes pride in quality workmanship and finishing the job correctly Communication & Teamwork Professional, positive, and calm under pressure Strong verbal communication skills Able to work effectively within a small, close-knit team Comfortable following established company procedures and workflows Physical & Transportation Requirements Able to walk, climb stairs, lift/carry materials, and perform significant daily physical activity Able to shovel snow and work in a variety of weather conditions Valid driver's license Reliable car or truck for travel between local properties

We manage a growing portfolio of distinctive condos and homes and take pride in providing exceptional experiences for our guests and exceptional care for our property owners. Pay:
