Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman and Property Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be working as a member of a team or as an individual conducting repairs for tenants, unit turnovers, repairs, installs and build projects for residential properties and various types of businesses and organizations. Duties Perform routine inspections of building interiors and exteriors as needed for repairs. Conduct repairs using hand tools and power tools, including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, mounting things, deck work, fence work, and many more repairs. You may work as a team member or work independently from one work site to another. Organize a stack of assigned work orders in order of priority, contact tenants for scheduling, diagnose, shop, repair and log work conducted, time taken and materials used. Qualifications Proven experience in handyman and general maintenance for residential or commercial property upkeep. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools. Have your own basic hand tools, drill and impact driver. The more tools you have and are capable of performing repairs with, the more opportunities. Have a functional and reliable truck. Have a positive attitude with a team player mentality, and professionalism that leaves personal and work life separate during work hours. Friendly, customer approachable personality, with reputation mindfulness. Self starter to communicate, and conduct repairs without the help or supervision of someone else in an appropriate amount of time per task. Ability to work in all weather including: rain, snow, wind and heat. Ability to be humble and have a good attitude when skills can be expanded upon. Great communication skills verbally, written, and professionally (I'm running late, etc). Professional appearance. Fluent in English including, reading, writing and speaking. Clean driving and criminal record. Enjoy this kind ofwork .
Pay:
$28.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
