What You'll Do Assist experienced maintenance technicians with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities. Help maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support daily production operations. Perform equipment inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and component replacements under supervision. Learn to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems. Support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications. Accurately document maintenance activities and work orders. Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition. Follow all safety, food safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and company procedures. Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to achieve operational goals. Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous experience in a maintenance support, maintenance helper, assistant mechanic, or similar role. Basic understanding of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to safely use maintenance tools and power equipment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Technical school coursework, vocational training, or certifications related to Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Systems, or Electrical Systems. Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, snack food production, or industrial manufacturing. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards.
