You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair computer numerical control (CNC) machines, including Waterjets, Bridge Saws/5-Axis Saws, and Routers. We also have vacuum lifters, cranes, water recycling & filtration systems, and dust collection & ventilation systems. Your goal is to stop machine breakdowns before they happen and fix problems quickly when they occur.
Key Responsibilities Preventative Care:
Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly checks on all CNC equipment to stop unexpected failures.
Troubleshooting:
Find and fix electrical, mechanical, pneumatic (air), and hydraulic (fluid) problems.
Repair & Rebuild:
Replace broken parts, fix motors, and align machine axes to high precision.
Installation:
Set up, level, and calibrate new or relocated CNC machinery.
Documentation:
Keep clear logs of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Safety:
Follow all factory safety rules and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial or CNC machinery.
Education:
High school diploma required. Technical certification, trade school, or associate degree in electro-mechanical repair is a plus.
Reading Schematics:
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with CNC controls (SASSO, and Prussiani machines),and basic programming.
Physical Requirements:
