Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and reliable Maintenance Technician II to perform residential property repairs and lead a small crew when needed. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across several home maintenance trades, works independently, and takes pride in completing quality work. This position requires strong communication and documentation skills, including taking photos, writing detailed notes, and reporting job progress through a mobile app. A take-home company vehicle and company-provided cell phone are included with this position. Responsibilities Lead small crews and coordinate work at job sites Diagnose maintenance issues and determine the appropriate repair Complete wood fence repairs and lead fencing projects Perform pressure washing and roof cleaning Complete minor roof repairs and install emergency roof tarps Perform same-day drywall patches and prepare repaired areas for finishing Complete interior and exterior painting independently Perform basic carpentry, including baseboard and trim installation Complete minor concrete repairs Perform minor plumbing work, including drain cleaning and toilet resets Perform minor electrical repairs within the permitted scope of the position Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Take clear before, during, and after photos Record detailed job notes, materials used, work completed, and recommended next steps in the company app Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management Properly maintain company tools, equipment, vehicle, and phone Qualifications Previous experience in residential maintenance, construction, repair, or a related trade Ability to complete common maintenance and repair tasks independently Ability to lead and work effectively with a small crew Strong working knowledge of basic tools and repair methods Experience with wood fencing, painting, drywall, and carpentry Basic experience with plumbing, electrical work, roof repairs, and concrete repairs Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality Professional appearance and communication Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to use a smartphone app to document work accurately Ability to take clear photos and write detailed progress notes Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work Ability to work safely on ladders, roofs, and outdoor job sites Ability to work independently and use good judgment in the field Compensation and Company Equipment $25-$28 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill level Take-home company vehicle 401k Matching up to 4% after 90 days Paid training Paid sick time Flexible Schedule What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned jobs from start to finish.
