Job Description
A growing food manufacturer is seeking several experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its expanding maintenance team in the Green Bay, WI area . This is a hands-on troubleshooting role for manufacturing technicians who can diagnose equipment failures and make effective repairs—not simply replace parts . The facility offers a predictable 2-2-3 schedule published well in advance and exposure to a wide range of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and automated equipment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required. Maintain hydraulic and automated production systems. Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Follow food safety, GMP, LOTO, and plant safety procedures. Qualifications 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience. Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers, cartoning/packaging equipment, or similar systems is a plus. Experience writing/editing SOPs is helpful but not required.
