Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician ! The Alexander Company is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for providing property maintenance for Artisan Village (169 unit complex) with support from a maintenance helper, and take part in the rotating on call schedule. Ideal candidate should have multi-property maintenance experience, up to and including 2+years' experience in HVAC , electrical , plumbing , and general maintenance ,
Responsibilities :
Perform and/or facilitate all general and preventative maintenance for the property including mechanical systems, common areas (interior and exterior) and apartment units. Complete Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly inspections of all areas of the Property. Identify and report major repair needs to the Property Manager and Facilities Manager. Ensure property functionality of security systems, lighting, and emergency equipment. Unit turn-over tasks that include, but not limited to: drywall repairs, appliance repairs, lighting and plumbing repairs. Upkeep of the property grounds. General custodial duties, as needed. Maintain supply inventories for regularly used parts and products. Completion of work-orders as assigned in a timely manner. Removal of ice and snow from the Property when necessary. Completion of regular maintenance plans and schedules. Available to answer after-hours calls for emergency repairs and responding appropriately. Other duties as required and directed by the Property Manager and Facilities Manager.
Requirements :
This position requires physical activity such as lifting, climbing, stooping, bending, and operating maintenance tools. Availability for emergency on-call repairs, outside of regular working hours, required. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance-related field is a plus. Minimum 2 years of experience working in residential or commercial property maintenance, preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, required. Must have a valid driver's license.

Schedule :
