Oakbrook Corporation is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Brenwood Park Senior Apartments , a beautiful senior living community in Franklin, Wisconsin. If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, working with your hands, and helping create a safe and comfortable home for residents, we'd love to meet you. This position offers a 28-hour per week schedule and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships in a welcoming senior housing community. What You'll Be Doing Complete daily resident work orders promptly and professionally Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance Assist with apartment turnovers to prepare homes for new residents Conduct preventative maintenance and routine property inspections Maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when needed Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues Assist with seasonal property responsibilities, including snow removal and landscaping support Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and team members Support Oakbrook's commitment to maintaining high-quality communities What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in quality workmanship. You enjoy troubleshooting issues, working independently, and interacting with residents in a respectful and professional manner. Preferred Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience Working knowledge of: HVAC systems Plumbing repairs Electrical troubleshooting Appliance repair Painting and drywall repair Carpentry and general building maintenance Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Comfortable working independently with limited supervision Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Personal hand tools required Take part in an on-call rotation Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials Trade school training or maintenance certifications are a plus About Oakbrook Corporation For nearly 40 years, Oakbrook Corporation has been creating and managing communities throughout the Midwest.
