Senior Maintenance - St.
Paul Elder Services Location:
Kaukauna, WI Position:
Senior Maintenance Status:
Full-Time Schedule Full-Time On-call rotation approximately every 4-5 weeks Flexibility for early morning or evening hours as needed Occasional schedule adjustments may be needed for kitchen maintenance and facility needs Position Summary St. Paul Elder Services is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Senior Maintenance professional to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate has experience in a variety of maintenance areas, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new skills. You will work with team members, contractors, and other departments to address maintenance needs and support the ongoing operation of our healthcare environment. Training is available for the right candidate! Key Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Maintain and troubleshoot plumbing systems. Assist with HVAC systems, including air handlers and boilers. Maintain and support life safety systems, including fire alarms and sprinkler systems. Maintain door security systems and nurse call systems. Perform wall patching, painting, and general building repairs. Coordinate and work with contractors on maintenance projects. Conduct and participate in safety drills, including fire and severe weather drills. Perform snow removal using plow trucks, tractors, snow blowers, skid steers, and other equipment. Perform lawn care and landscaping, including operating mowers, trimmers, edgers, and related equipment. Operate and maintain floor scrubbers and assist with kitchen equipment cleaning. Respond to maintenance requests and address facility concerns in a timely manner. Help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment throughout the facility. Follow organizational policies, workplace safety procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations. Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 4-5 weeks. Qualifications Previous experience in building, facility, or general maintenance preferred. Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other building systems is a plus. Strong practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Good organizational and basic computer skills. Ability and willingness to learn new maintenance skills and procedures. Ability to work effectively in a healthcare, nursing home, or assisted living environment. Ability to safely operate maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal equipment. Flexibility to work early morning or evening hours as needed. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation every 4-5 weeks. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
