Job Description

Are you the person everyone calls when a machine goes down? We're looking for an experienced maintenance professional who thrives on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and keeping production running smoothly. Join a growing manufacturing team in Darien, WI with competitive pay and a primarily straight 1st shift schedule.
Advanced Maintenance Technician Location:
Darien, WI (Walworth/Rock County)
Pay:
Up to $38/hour (higher pay may be available for candidates with strong PLC, mechanical, and leadership experience)
Shift:
Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm but must have flexibility What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment Perform gearbox rebuilds and replace bearings, shafts, and gears Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Complete welding and fabrication projects as needed Troubleshoot 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLC systems Respond to equipment downtime and implement effective solutions to minimize production interruptions Support preventative maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Requirements 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in: Gearbox rebuilds Bearing, shaft, and gear replacement Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication Solid troubleshooting skills with 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLCs Ability to stay calm and solution-focused during equipment breakdowns Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Experience with extrusion equipment (film, sheet, tube, or plastics converting) Leadership, training, or mentoring experience Bilingual Spanish/English skills Why Apply?
