Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. This position is responsible for keeping production equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations. This is a hands-on role that offers a variety of daily responsibilities, from diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues to performing routine maintenance and supporting general facility needs. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, safety-conscious, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. What You'll Do Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Diagnose equipment problems and determine the appropriate repairs. Lubricate machinery, replace worn parts, and perform routine adjustments. Install, replace, and modify machine components and equipment. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools, hoists, jacks, and other equipment. Inspect machine components and identify damaged or defective parts. Read work orders, equipment specifications, and maintenance instructions. Start and test equipment following repairs to ensure proper operation. Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas. Assist with equipment moves, installations, and other facility maintenance projects. Remove worn parts, debris, and buildup from machinery and work areas. Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment issues. Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. #manitowoc1
Requirements:
Previous experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of: Hydraulics and pneumatics PLCs and industrial controls AC/DC electrical systems Low-voltage and 480V electrical systems Motors, sensors, switches, relays, fans, and blowers Heating systems and thermocouples Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Commitment to workplace safety.
