Job Description

We have an opportunity for Maintenance Technicians on 2nd and 3rd shift to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding presses, automation cells, auxiliary equipment, other machinery, and company property. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance on injection molding presses, automation, machinery, and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using visual inspection, diagnostic tools, and precision measuring equipment to identify root causes. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Dismantle equipment to access problem areas and install new or repaired components as needed. Assemble, install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including valves, pressure regulators, and related components. Read and understand U.S. and European electrical circuits and drawings . Troubleshoot various types of mechanical drive systems. Learn to communicate with, troubleshoot, and program PLCs . Proficiently operate welding and cutting equipment. Complete building, facility, and grounds repairs as needed. Create and retrieve maintenance work orders using IQMS . Perform limited equipment rigging and spotting as required. Operate a forklift after successfully completing Kaysun's forklift certification program. Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements, including established Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Support Kaysun's Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Work effectively as part of a three-shift maintenance team and communicate professionally with coworkers, vendors, and customers. Work additional hours, including weekday and weekend overtime, as necessary to support operations and project completion. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous industrial maintenance and/or electrician experience preferred . Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems involving multiple variables. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation. Basic knowledge of algebra and geometry, including proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated with strong initiative and sound judgment. Basic computer skills in a Windows environment; proficiency with Excel preferred. Ability to learn new software and equipment systems efficiently. Must successfully obtain Kaysun forklift certification. Must be willing and able to work overtime as necessary. Physical & Work Environment This position requires regular standing and walking and may involve climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must be able to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. The position works around moving mechanical equipment and may involve exposure to elevated work areas, electrical hazards, outdoor conditions, and a loud manufacturing environment.
