Full-time Regular
- Milwaukee - Mill Road, Milwaukee, WI, US
Salary Range:
- $28.00 To $35.00 Hourly
- Maintenance Mechanic
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Pay Range:
- $28.00 - $35.00 (based on experience and qualifications)

- Position Summary
- The Maintenance Mechanic performs all-around maintenance work on a variety of systems and pieces of equipment to ensure proper operating functions of machinery.
- _The successful candidates will have an acceptable score on the maintenance questionnaire._
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- + Ability to provide maintenance and repair on several types of building systems such as pipefitting, basic electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Qualification Requirements
- Education & Experience
- + High school diploma or GED required; additional relevant training preferred. + Preferred experience level: Two years' experience in the manufacturing/chemical industry.
- Skills & Abilities
- + Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Physical Demands
- + Frequent activities: talking, hearing, standing, walking, using hands for handling objects, and moving around. + Regular activities: sitting, balancing, stooping. + Occasional activities: reaching above shoulders, using feet to operate machinery, climbing. + Lifting requirements: regularly up to 65 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- + Safety shoes, safety glasses, and flame-retardant uniforms or lab coats are required in production areas. + Respirators and ear plugs are required for specific production processes.
