The ideal candidate will provide a variety of maintenance and repair services for commercial office buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and other equipment as assigned, following established procedures, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, testing, flushing, minor repairs, rebuilding, and replacing parts and components, to keep systems within established operating parameters. Respond to building tenant issues in a timely and professional manner. Perform repairs on a wide variety of facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, with a moderate level of guidance or supervision. Follow direction and complete assigned tasks, both independently and as part of a team. Document work performed, including time, materials, and a description of the work. Maintain and organize tools and equipment. Respond to emergencies during and outside of regular working hours. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation required. At least 2 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or medical facility maintenance. Willingness to work scheduled or emergency overtime as needed. Ability to climb, reach, and lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Proficiency using a computer and cell phone. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A desire to learn and grow professionally. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. A productive, dependable team player.
