HR Duties:
Safely and efficiently operate a variety of hand and power tools. Follow and uphold all applicable OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies. Work collaboratively with production employees, contractors, and other maintenance personnel. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing pumps, 440V 3‑phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic equipment. Identify required parts and materials for maintenance tasks and communicate needs to the Shop Superintendent. Read, interpret, and work from standard prints, schematics, and written instructions. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems. Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional off‑shift or weekend work. Complete general maintenance tasks such as housekeeping, painting, and other duties as assigned by supervision. Work independently or as part of a team, completing tasks with minimal supervision when required. Utilize basic computer applications (Word, Excel) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Qualifications:
2 years of mechanical, millwright, or manufacturing‑related maintenance experience or 2 years of relevant technical training (preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment. General knowledge of PLC controls, motor controls, and HVAC systems (preferred but not required). Proficient use of hand tools and basic shop equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment. Why Express Employment Professionals, Appleton WI?
