Maintain and repair electrical equipment, machines, cranes, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and other building systems.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Observe and inspect equipment in operation to detect potential problems, damage, defects, or wear. Repair or maintain the operating condition of machines, cranes, and equipment. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery, cranes, and equipment. Disassemble machinery, cranes, or equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear. Install, replace, or change parts according to specifications. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Maintain repair or maintenance records. Repair and Maintain Electronic Equipment — Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, or test machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on electrical or electronic principles. Operate Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment such as forklift, crane, or utility vehicle. Detailed Work Activities Ability to operate, maintain and repair overhead cranes. Ability to operate forklift and boom lift/manlift Knowledge of machines and building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Dependability — position requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, Initiative - willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed. Qualifications/Job Knowledge Knowledge of the proper operation and routine maintenance and repair of machines, equipment, and vehicles. Knowledge of the proper use of tools and equipment used in facility Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles and light trucks.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, grip, and climb. Must not have fear of heights. Must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently. Maintain and repair machines, building and equipment. Maintain and repair electrical equipment, machines, cranes, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and other building systems.
